Info
FLOWERFALL grew out of a collaboration with the instruments themselves... letting their patterns, repetitions and interactions suggest where the music wanted to go.
Rhythm becomes a kind of hypnotic trance, but without settling into traditional 4/4 time. Instead, the piece moves through different multiples of 2/8... including 12/8, 16/8 and 10/8. The pulse remains strong enough to carry you, while the shifting meters keep subtly changing the ground beneath it.
E Amara 20 handpan, Neotone bass, Chase Bliss Big Time delay and JWildfire Swan
